Glass Frog (Hyalinobatrachium Valerioi)

Glass Frog (Hyalinobatrachium Valerioi) also known as La Palma glass frog can be found in lowland forest in bushes and trees along streams. This species ranges from central Costa Rica, through Panama and the Pacific lowlands of western Colombia, south to Mata Real in Azuay Province in Ecuador.

They are green, milky white, and you can see through their undersides! These glass frogs are nocturnal meaning they are awake during the night. In the wild they are constantly foraging for small insects, invertebrates and arthropods in the plants they inhabit. 

They can be kept in small groups and a 12x12x24 Exo Terra or larger. They prefer to climb so taller enclosures are preferred over wider enclosures.
