Unlike white springtails which we normally keep on charcoal, we keep this species in a sealed container with ABG or similar soil. We sterilize( bake the soil before hand to ensure no pests) the ABG soils first and add leaf litter. They don’t eat yeast but prefer wet vegetables in particular apple once a week along with carrot. Mist but don’t wet soil as they can utilize soil that is soggy. We keep at room temp it up to 70- 77F . 

    With over 60% protein, they provide a nutritious meal for your pets and act as a cleaning crew. A must-have for any terrarium or vivarium setup.
