The 3D printed vents are designed specifically for isopod and frog habitat bins. This ventilation system ensures optimal airflow to help prevent stale air while maintaining humidity levels conducive to the optimal environment. The fine mesh style hold are small enough to keep pests out including fungus gnats but allow excess moisture to escape. They are also small enough to keep pinhead crickets and fruit flies in( including Mel Fruit Fly) They are good for isopod bins , frog grow-outs and bins , gecko bins etc…
They come in two sizes -2” which we find work well with 2 per bin( one at each end or two in the lids)for Isopods bins under 20L . With 20L and up bins we find the 3 “ vents work better as larger bins require more air flow.
They come in a light blue which is a close colour match to the Sterilite Gasket Bins sold in many stores.
Note ; the size is the hole the is the inner ring & fits into a 2” vent hole .The outside mesh cover is actually ~2.5” outside size, but the inner ring fits into a 2” hole cut into plastic bins using a 2” hole saw.
Same with 3” Vent fitting into a 3” hole cut with a 3” hole saw.
